Felman Trading – the biggest Manganese alloys supplier in North America is planning to attend the Ryan’s Notes 2010 Ferroalloy Conference to be held on October 24-26 in Hollywood, Florida USA. Felman Trading, Inc. announces that Felman Trading and Glencore Ltd. have mutually decided to decline extending the Agency Agreement between the parties past 2009.  Starting January 1, 2010, Felman Trading will be the exclusive trader for domestically produced ferroalloys (SiMn) from the Felman Production, Inc. plant in West Virginia.  In addition, Felman Trading will continue to trade imported ferroalloys, including SiMn, FeMn, FeCr, and FeSi from overseas producers.  Felman Trading is currently accepting RFQs directly from potential customers for delivery of ferroalloys in 2010.

Logistics Manager

As a Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for all logistics and supply chain activities for inbound and outbound cargo including inventory control, raw materials, finished goods, warehousing and distribution. You will develop, improve and audit procedures within supply chain to improve efficiency by removing non-value adding activities from all processes. 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Inland (trucking / railway) and waterway (river / marine) logistics
  • 5 or more years of experience in logistics
  • Good knowledge of Warehouses and Port (river / marine) activities.
  • Must have exposure to and understanding of ERP systems.
  • Excellent administration skills and ability to write and implement procedures. 
  • Ability to work with tight deadlines and demonstrate an understanding of best practice.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Professional, analytical, a problem solver, customer service and high quality orientation, good presentation skills and a high technical understanding and utilization of terms and concepts used in Logistics/Supply Chain.
  • Team player with a high level of initiative, tenacity, as well as the ability to multi-task.
  • Leadership abilities to provide direction while motivating and developing team members.
  • Bachelor’s degree.

Sales manager

As a Sales manager you will keep management of existing customers and creates new customers in steel markets. Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, delivery schedules etc.


JOB REQUIREMENTS:

v  5 or more years of experience in steel industry or steel related industries.

v  Bachelor's degree.

v  Previous experience in bulk alloys sales.

v  Possess good written and verbal communication skills.

v  Must be willing and available to travel often within USA and abroad.

v  Must be confident, bold, assertive, and idea oriented

v  Must have exposure to and understanding of ERP systems.
